MEANING OF THE EVENT NAME
The last event named “WINGSFAN II” was held the day before the Paul McCartney’s performance in Osaka, where I promoted the original concept, that is we perform musics Paul McCartney never played live before.
Regardless of the solo era and Wings era of the Beatles’ breakup, Paul McCartney have lots of solo and Wings’ hits and masterpieces, but they never have become his repertoire.
11 years has passed and they became his live repertoires, such as “Listen To What The Man Said,” “Hi Hi Hi” and so on, but, for example , I can not say he has many live repertoires of 80’s are, but he has only song “Here Today.”
So , I named this event from wanting to play more to Paul such a song in honor to the hit song of 1975 by Paul McCartney & Wings “Listen To What The Man Said.”
We’re going to cover not only solo songs Paul has not played in recent performance but also familiar numbers by The Beatles.
There is no appearance of Paul McCartney himself and also no relation between promoters of Paul McCartney “Out there Japan” tours.
